Privacy Policy — Baby & Me

Effective August 7, 2026 · Last updated August 7, 2026

The short version

Baby & Me keeps everything on your device. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any data. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics and no advertising, and no way for us to see anything you enter.

Who we are

Baby & Me is published by AxiomPoint. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean AxiomPoint, and “the app” means Baby & Me.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you enter is written to the app's private storage on your phone or tablet, inside the operating system's app sandbox, where other apps cannot reach it. That includes:

None of it is transmitted anywhere by the app.

What we collect

Nothing. The app contains no network code, no analytics or crash-reporting software, and no advertising. We hold no data about you to access, correct, delete, or lose in a breach — because none ever reaches us.

On Android, the operating system grants every app built with React Native the INTERNET permission automatically at build time. Baby & Me does not use it. The permission is present but unused.

Your device's own backups

Like most apps, Baby & Me's data is included in your device's own backup (iCloud on Apple devices, Google backup on Android) if you have device backups turned on. Those backups belong to your Apple or Google account, are encrypted by them, and are governed by their privacy terms rather than ours. You can exclude the app from device backups in your device settings.

The backup file you can export

The app can export your data as a plain, unencrypted file so you can keep a copy or move to a new phone. You choose where it goes — Files, AirDrop, email, a cloud drive. Once exported, that file is in your custody, and if you send it to a cloud service it becomes subject to that service's terms. The app deletes its own temporary copies immediately after an export or a restore.

Deleting your data

Delete a child's profile in the app to remove that child's data, or uninstall the app to remove everything at once — the operating system deletes the whole sandbox. There is nothing to delete on our side, because nothing ever reached us. The only copies that survive are backup files you exported yourself.

Operating-system diagnostics

Apple and Google may collect crash and diagnostic information at the operating system level, according to the sharing choices you made in your device settings. The app itself contains no crash-reporting software and receives nothing from those programmes unless you opted into Apple's, in which case it reaches us only through Apple's own developer dashboard.

Children's privacy

The app is designed for parents and caregivers, not for use by children. The information a parent enters about their child stays on the parent's device as described above, and is never collected by us.

Changes

If a future version ever changed this architecture, this policy would be updated first and the change called out plainly in the app.
